Italian guitarist. Vintage tone.
Born in Milan, Oleg Capovani has worked as a professional musician for almost twenty years — as a session guitarist, band member, and composer of his own music. He has played across Italy, Switzerland, the UK, and Russia, including St. Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi, Kaliningrad, and beyond.
His work spans private events for major companies, blues and acid jazz projects, and festivals such as Delta Neva and Harley Days. He collaborates with the IP Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, and organizes the rock jam session at Hard Rock Café.
In 2010 he released his solo album Guitar works. His sound is deliberately vintage — Fender and Gibson guitars through valve amps by Marshall, Vox, Orange, and Fender.
